In particular:<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">                         <\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\">                         <\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-AU\" style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span style=\"\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal;\"><\/span><\/span><\/span>to understand the Sydney Church                            read Tom Kenneally&#8217;s <span class=\"BodyTextLastChar\"><span lang=\"EN-AU\" style=\"\">Three                            Cheers for the Paraclete; <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-AU\" style=\"\">and<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span style=\"\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/span>make sure we get to know Ted Kennedy,                            if we wanted to see the Church as it really can be.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"justify\" class=\"Bullets\" style=\"margin: 3pt 0cm 3pt 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\"><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">\n<\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\" class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 3pt 0cm;\"><span lang=\"EN-AU\" style=\"\"><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\" class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 3pt 0cm;\"><span lang=\"EN-AU\" style=\"\">We                            did the first and enjoyed it, as well as realising how                            accurate it was. We were fortunate to be introduced                            to Ted soon after we arrived in <\/span><st1:city><st1:place><span lang=\"EN-AU\" style=\"\">Sydney<\/span><\/st1:place><\/st1:city><span lang=\"EN-AU\" style=\"\">                            and, although we are not regular Redfern worshippers,                            we have enjoyed his friendship, his leadership and his                            challenge to &ldquo;be&rdquo; catholic ever since.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">                           <\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\" class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 3pt 0cm;\"><span lang=\"EN-AU\" style=\"\">Our                            involvement in Aboriginal Justice issues is very much                            because of Ted&#8217;s influence (and to Mum Shirl&#8217;s). The                            fact that we still try to follow the teachings of Jesus                            is because we could see them being lived in the Redfern                            Community.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">                           <\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\" class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 3pt 0cm;\"><span lang=\"EN-AU\" style=\"\">We                            hope Ted is able to enjoy retirement, knowing that his                            work lives on in many people.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p align=\"justify\" class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 3pt 0cm;\">When we first came to Sydney from Adelaide in 1968 several of our friends gave us advice about the Catholic Church in this city.
